Being a teenager can be a stressful time in a person's life. You look like an adult, but the frontal lobe of your brain is still developing, so it is not possible to make decisions like an adult. Therefore, adults don't often take you as seriously as you would like. The frontal lobe of a male brain fully develops in the mid to late twenties. The female brain is fully developed by the age of 21 or 22. I have worked for years with teens in my career, and I really enjoy coaching and supporting them as they discover who they are along the journey of life. I would love to chat with you, so email me.

Three things I don't like when you talk to me.

  1. Don't talk down to me like I'm a child.

  2. Don't talk to me like I am suppose to be scared of you.

  3. And never talk to me like I'm stupid.

Remember we were all created equal and the golden rule says:

Treat others the way you would like to be treated.

It is OK to stick up for your self and say I don't deserve to be treated unkindly please stop.
